An Open Letter Regarding the Unauthorized Use of Our Trademarks:

Human Software Corporation has used the trademark "SpeechWare™" for our lines of software-based continuous speech recognition applications and tools since 1993. The SpeechWare™ name, as associated with Human Software Corporation, has appeared in various internationally distributed trade journals and software catalogs. At the time of our first usages, our searches turned up no prior claims or use of the name.

It has come to our attention that lately some firms, perhaps in a misguided marketing effort, are infringing on our trademark by using the SpeechWare™ name for a similar, if not identical, type of product. We do not sanction any such use by any other firm or software vendor and will vigorously defend our trademarks.

We ask politely that all such use cease and desist immediately.
